There's a national movement going around and it's come right here to Shreveport called the Butterfly Effect. The idea is to use a mural of butterflies to help spread art and promote change in a community. Anyone who finds the giant butterfly is encourage to take their picture with it and then text/post the picture along with the hashtag of their favorite charity.

The painters name is Elizabeth Beauvais and she told KTAL "The butterfly effect then makes a small donation to that charity in your name and then sends you a confirmation of that." The butterfly is now up and ready to have your picture taken with in the Allendale neighborhoo of Shreveport. You'll be able to find the painting on the side of the building located at 300 North Allen Street. Below is what the painting will look like...
