Growing up my family always loved Easter. My mom used to make us wake up at the crack of dawn and head to church for a sunrise service at 5:30 a.m. As an adult I am now the proud lazy aunt who hides the Easter eggs in plain sight. Truly it's a day that we can all come together all celebrate He Is Risen! If you would like to celebrate in a unique way we are collecting Easter Basket items. Items like: Candy, stuffed eggs, grass, and anything else you know a local kid would love to find in their Easter basket.

You can come drop off your Easter Basket donations at Townsquare Media at 6341 Westport Avenue. Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We will be collecting your donations up until Wednesday April 17th.

Your donations will go towards the amazing work that the Providence House has been doing in Shreveport/Bossier for over 20 years. The vision at Providence House is to be a catalyst for change so no family in our community is homeless.
