This throwback Mudbugs video has over 250,000 views and showcases one of the craziest hockey fights of all time.

This fight has been featured on countless national sports shows and is still talked about routinely by Mudbugs fans and staff members. Just the other day a fan asked me if I remembered this bench-clearing brawl. I said, "Of course, I re-watch the video once a week!" The brawl comes from a game played between the Bossier-Shreveport  Mudbugs and the Corpus Christi Ice Rays all the way back in 2008.

The game was held at the (then) CenturyLink Center and tensions were sky-high throughout the night. It was only a matter of time before you-know-what hit the fan, but when it did, no one in the arena was expecting this. No one. Not the fans. Not the referees. Not the coaches. Certainly not the players. Sure, sometimes you can expect a fight or two, but you can never expect anything quite like this.

This fight is what hockey fans call a "line brawl" but it was actually a little more than that. The fisticuffs were thrown by both goalies, players off the bench, and there were moments where it looked like the coaches were going to throw-down as well.

Take three minutes and enjoy the craziest Mudbugs hockey fight of all time, and coincidentally, their most viewed clip of all-time.

Also, I included a newer video underneath which shows the greatest Mudbugs fight from this new era at George's Pond.
