Louisiana High School Baseball Team Raffling AR-15 for Fundraiser
A north Louisiana high school baseball team is capitalizing on the area's love of guns by raffling a semi-automatic rifle as a fundraiser.
For $10, Minden High baseball supporters and gun enthusiasts can take a chance to win a .223-caliber DPMS Panther Arms AR-15.
This is the second year for the Crimson Tide to raffle a gun. Last year, a .40-caliber handgun raked in more than $2,000, which was used for equipment and various expenses, head coach Dean Francis said. And those tickets were only $2 each.
The drawing will be held April 24. To purchase tickets, contact Francis at (318) 377-2766.
