Hit TV Show Has Huge Local Connection

Right now, a lot of people are seeking out shows to binge watch. And there are literally THOUSANDS of options. However, one I would suggest, has a huge local tie. The hit CW show 'All American' starring Daniel Ezra and Taye Diggs is written by Shreveporter Jon Alston. 

Alston spent his formative years in Shreveport playing football for Loyola College Prep. After high school, Alston went on to play football for the Stanford Cardinals. He was eventually drafted in the 3rd Round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. Alston bounced around the NFL for 5 years before changing careers and getting into movies and television.

Aside from being a writer for 'All American', he wrote and directed the independent films 'Red Butterfly' and 'Sell Out!'.

Currently, 'All American' is the #3 Trending show in America on Netflix. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should. It's a good show and it's always nice to support one of our own.
