Human Remains Found In Shreveport, Police Investigate

Shreveport Police and the Caddo Parish Coroner's Office are investigating human remains found on Meriweather Road Thursday morning. A man alerted police about the remains after he found his dog playing with a human skull. Several other bone pieces were found in the area, but not an entire body.

The skull was sent to the FACES lab in Baton Rouge so experts could determine the age, race and gender of the bones.
