I Had the Some of the Best Pasta at a Random Spot in Shreveport

I have been dying to try the new eatery in Downtown Shreveport. Friday was my lucky day, I drove past Pepito's XO in Shreveport and saw that they were open and the lunch crowd had left.

Pepito's XO Has Only Been Open for a Month and Everyone Around Town Has Been Trying to Get In to Try It Out.

My friend and I walked in on a mission. We would try one appetizer and split a meal. We wanted to keep it light. However, the lunch menu was full of crazy options, so we had no choice but to order the fried zucchini and the corn.

The Chef Passed By Our Table and I Asked Him What Random Dish I Should Try.

The tables around me had so many delicious dishes. I knew I was facing a hard decision. My friend decided to order the Poke Bowl but I couldn't make a decision. The chef said, "You know the pasta is really good." I looked at him and thought he was kidding. Why would I order pasta at Pepito's XO?

I Caved and Ended Up Ordering the Pasta Thinking It's Good Enough for the Chef It's Good Enough for Me.

What in the world is this creamy sauce made of? I normally can dissect a dish but this dish had me perplexed. Just know it's really creamy and I recommend getting it with chicken. How could such delicious pasta be one of the best-kept secrets in town?
