Like the old saying goes..."It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it!"

A Texas woman is breathing a sigh of relief after her engagement ring was found in 10 tons of trash after she accidentally threw it away.

According to Fox News, Nelly Cabeen of Waxahachie went to Facebook to talk about her horrifying ordeal all over miscommunication.

Friday morning I had to call [Turkey Creek Landfill] because I accidentally threw away my ring that my husband gave me when he proposed to [me] 5 years ago.  The ring meant everything to me and because of miscommunication I accidentally threw it away!

Cabeen realized by the time she noticed her ring was gone the trash was already picked up and made a call to the landfill and talked to the waste coordinator Karen Fuller.

Karen was very realistic when she told Nelly finding that ring is like finding a needle in a haystack, but Karen wasn't giving up as she gave details about the bag color and what the ring looked like and within 10 mins of searching THEY FOUND THE RING!

I was floored they found [the ring]. Adolfo and Soto were a HUGE contribution to finding it. They looked through thousands of pieces of trash to find something special for someone they didn’t know. They did NOT have to do that yet they went beyond their call of duty to help, and for that I am forever thankful!

Huge props to Adolfo and Soto for finding the ring and maybe they should go into a career change and become detectives.

As for Nelly I think she need to get that ring resized as a precaution of not going through that again.

Talk about a miracle!
