It's festival season in Southwest Louisiana and here comes another great event in our area. The Louisiana Railroad Days Festival which is held in DeQuincy, Louisiana will take place in April this year. The festival is a staple of the community and it is free to get in.

This year's festival is scheduled to take place from Thursday, April 11th, 2024 through Saturday, April 13th, 2024, and is located on the grounds by the Railroad Museum in Downtown Dequincy, Louisiana.

There is a huge carnival with rides for the kids, a ton of food, and live music all three nights of the festival. They also have a parade, 5K walk or run, a model train show, and carnival rides.

Get ready for some great live music too. The music starts on Thursday night with Brad Broussard taking the stage starting at 5:00 pm. On Friday, it's gospel night and the headliner that night will be Riley Harrison Clark on the main stage.

On Saturday, you can enjoy a full day of live music starting at 1:00 pm.  Here is the entire lineup for Saturday, April 13th, 2024.

  • 1:00 pm --- Geno Delafose and French Rockin' Boogie
  • 3:00 pm -- 26 West
  • 5:00 pm -- The Rosedown Rockers
  • 7:00 pm -- The Stark Experiment Featuring Tod Stark
  • 9:00 pm -- Mark Reeves and Twisted X

All of these artists will be performing on the main stage that day. Remember that it is free to attend the festival and there is NO alcohol allowed at the festival nor will they be serving any. Gather your family and head to DeQuincy for a family-friendly festival on the second weekend in April 2024.
