Mail Delivery Changes For Columbus Day in Louisiana & Texas

If you live in Louisiana or Texas, you might want to plan before dropping off that package. The United States Postal Service (USPS) is making a major change for Columbus Day, and it’s going to impact how mail moves across both states.

That means no letters, bills, or standard packages until Tuesday, October 14. The only thing that will still be delivered is Priority Mail Express. If you’ve got something urgent, that’s your best bet.
