Lake Charles, Louisiana - If you live in North Lake Charles, you're going to have to choose a different place to grocery shop the next few days. Walmart on 171, also known as Walmart of the Bayou, will be closed until further notice.

Walmart on The Bayou Closed Until Further Notice in Lake Charles

The Walmart, sometimes called the “Walmart on the Bayou,” is currently closed until further notice because of what the store is calling unforeseen circumstances.

There have been several rumors about what happened, with some people saying there was a small fire inside the store. However, that information has not been confirmed at this time. For now, Walmart has not announced when the store will reopen.
