Food Prize 2026 Recap: Highlights and Photos From Come & Get It

The energy inside the Remington Suite Hotel in Downtown Shreveport was absolute magic tonight. This year’s six Food Prize finalists fought their way through the grueling Golden Fork Dinner Series just to earn their spot on tonight’s roster and when it finally came time for Come and Get It, they proved exactly why they belong on the main stage.

Food television will always be my first love. There is just something so mesmerizing about watching kitchen geniuses go head-to-head under intense pressure, whipping up mind-blowing culinary creations that I couldn’t dream up in a million years. It is pure art, total adrenaline, and honestly, an absolute blast to witness live.

That is why I am so obsessed with the fact that we have our very own high-stakes culinary arena right here in Northwest Louisiana! Food Prize brings together our region’s absolute best culinary talent for an epic showdown designed to showcase and elevate the masterminds shaping our local dining scene.

At Come and Get It, these incredible local chefs paired up with national celebrity chefs to deliver one-of-a-kind tastings for both attendees and judges. From bold regional flavor profiles to unbelievable presentation and artistry, every single station brought something extraordinary to the table.

Of course, no great dish is complete without a top-tier drink. Our area’s best mixologists were right alongside the chefs, going head-to-head behind the bar and shaking up unique, handcrafted cocktails as they battled for the coveted Golden Shaker trophy!
