The National Weather Service warns of a slight risk for damaging winds, large hail and possible heavy rains that could lead to flooding.

Due to that flooding potential, with the possibility of an additional one to three inches of rain fall and possibly some isolated higher amounts, hey have issued a Flood Watch for most of the Arklatex area that will extend all the way through 7:00 Tuesday morning

And the extended forecast doesn't look much better as the NWS is forecasting the possibility of heavy rain again into next weekend, as another disturbance moves into the region.

Forecasters suggest an additional one to three inches of rainfall will be possible, with another flood watch potentially being needed by the middle of this workweek.
