Guests staying on the upper floors frequently report hearing the sound of tiny footsteps running up and down the carpeted halls in the middle of the night, accompanied by soft, disembodied laughter. Legend says two young children tragically lost their lives near the property during the town’s riverport boom era, and their playful spirits never left.

The Crying Bride

One of the hotel’s most famous resident specters is the spirit of a young bride-to-be. According to local lore, she was abandoned at the altar in the late 19th century and took her own life inside one of the upstairs suites. To this day, visitors report hearing muffled sobbing behind locked doors, seeing faint shadowy figures in bridal gowns in the mirrors, and feeling sudden, unexplainable cold spots.

Mischievous Poltergeist Activity
