Logansport Riverfront is Ready to Rock for River City Fest

As Logansport joins the celebration of America's 250 years of freedom, they are preparing for the 43 Annual River City Fest at the Logansport Riverfront Park on Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2.

It's two full days of food, arts and crafts, a car show, treasure hunt, live music and so much more. They'll even have an incredible fireworks show on Saturday, May 2 at 9:00 pm.

On Friday, May 1, they'll hold the Rumble on the Riverfront cornhole tournament. Registration starts at 5:00 pm and the tournament begins at 7:00 pm. Only $60 per team and there's big cash prizes.

On Saturday, May 2, the Rumble on the Riverfront Car, Truck and Bike Show will hold registration beginning at 8:00 am and will feature some of the most incredible vehicles anywhere and there's even a Bicycle Class and Power Wheels races for kids.

Speaking of kids and bikes, event organizers are planning to hold a bicycle give away during the event and are currently looking for those willing to donate bicycles for the cause. If you can help, contact Kathi Wells at 318-286-3751 or Jamie Anthony at 318-773-3276.

Along with all the entertainment of Saturday's activities, don't forget to bring your donations for God's Food Pantry, the Logansport local food bank. For every 5 non-perishable items you bring, you’ll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a cooler, with the drawing taking place that evening on the river stage.

Organizers remind you, "But more than anything, this is about helping our neighbors, lifting each other up, and making sure no one in our community goes without. Every single item you donate is a reminder that kindness still matters and that we’re stronger together.  Let’s fill more than just boxes—let’s fill hearts. We hope to see you there!"

When it comes to the live music the event promises, back by popular demand, River City Fest will feature Jeff Rachall & 24/7 on Saturday, May 2.

On the event's Facebook page, we read that Jeff Rachall, celebrated for his commanding vocals and electrifying stage presence, brings unmatched energy to every stage he touches. His return has been one of the most requested by festival attendees, solidifying his reputation as a fan favorite.  Rejoining him is 24/7, a powerhouse group composed of some of Louisiana’s most highly respected country music musicians.

Live music will begin at 4:00 pm and will also feature the sounds of Jacob Wheeler and Justin Merritt.
