Louisiana Department Of Health Says To Throw This Baby Formula Away
(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - The Louisiana Department Of Health (LDH) is advising Louisiana residents to throw away a certain baby formula.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced on November 8 that they were looking into a newborn botulism outbreak linked to a certain baby formula.

Why Was ByHeart Baby Formula Recalled?
The American Press is reporting that ByHeart Inc. is recalling its baby formula due to the possibility that it contains the bacteria Clostridium botulinum, which can cause illness in young infants.
You should either discard ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula or return it to the retailer. The lot numbers, which are located on the bottom of the cans, should be noted or photographed before discarding any ByHeart formula. Look for any formulas you might have taken out of the original can and put in a different container. Use hot, soapy water or a dishwasher to clean any objects and surfaces that might have come into contact with the recalled mixture.
