This week, 64 people were booked and kept at the Caddo Correctional Center for various crimes.

One of those booked was arrested on gun charges after burglarizing a home.

Shreveport Police have arrested a man after a burglary and firearm-related incident on Despot Road.

Officers got a call about burglary in progress after a man unlawfully entered a home through a front window. The suspect, who was known to the home's occupant, was able to get away before officers arrived.

As he took-off on a bicycle, the the man reportedly shot a gun into the air, putting the public at risk.

Through investigation, officers were able to locate and arrest Terry Burns. He now faces the following charges:

-Illegal Use of a Weapon

-Illegal Criminal Damage to Property

-Unauthorized Entry into an Inhabited Dwelling

Another arrest was a man who was booked in to CCC for exposing himself in public.

Shreveport Police got a call regarding indecent exposure at a local business after a female employee reported a disgusting encounter.

The caller told SPD that she was returning to work from her break when she saw a man standing near the entrance of the building with his genitals exposed, touching himself in an explicit manner. The victim said she was afraid to approach the business due to the man’s gross actions that close to to the doorway.

 The victim said that the man started yelling at her while continuing the explicit act. A second employee approached the entrance and told the man to stop; but, he refused and continued.

SPD arrived at the scene and reviewed security camera footage from the business, which captured the incident described by the victims. Officers quickly located the man in close to the business and took him into custody without incident.

The man was identified as Jason Foster, who was arrested and charged with two counts of Obscenity.

"The Shreveport Police Department takes crimes of this nature seriously and encourages anyone who witnesses similar behavior to report it immediately."
