This week, 72 people were booked and kept in Caddo Correctional Center for various crimes.

Two of those pictured were arrested following a search warrant for guns and drugs.

Shreveport Police Department's Narcotics Unit was taking proactive action to target narcotics trafficking and illegal firearms possession in our community.

During a search related to narcotics and firearms offenses, SPD investigators arrested Kory Moore and Monica King.

Moore was charged with:

• Distribution of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance

• Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance

• Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with a Controlled Dangerous Substance

King was charged with:

Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance with Intent to Distribute

• Two counts of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance with Intent to Distribute

• Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with a Controlled Dangerous Substance
