Do You Know This Dollar Tree Robbery Suspect?

On Monday morning, at approximately 9:00 a.m. on April 27, 2026, Shreveport Police officers responded to the Dollar Tree in the 5800 block of Hearne Avenue following reports of a man attempting to hold up the store.

Suspect Used Concealed Hand Tactic

Witnesses at the scene provided a specific description of the encounter. According to investigators, a male suspect entered the store wearing a white t-shirt. In an effort to intimidate staff, he had a black t-shirt wrapped around his hand, leading employees to believe he was brandishing a firearm.

The individual demanded cash from the workers; however, the suspect was unsuccessful in obtaining any money and fled the building on foot shortly after the demand was made.

Detectives Release Images and Seek Public Help

The Shreveport Police Department's Investigations Bureau has taken the lead on the case. Detectives have already obtained and released surveillance imagery of the man believed to be responsible for the attempt.
