Shreveport Police Arrest Two on Domestic Violence Charges

Over the weekend, Shreveport Police officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance on Encina Drive.

When SPD got to the scene, Officers encountered several people involved in a heated dispute outside a residence.

Officers learned that an argument between two people in a relationship escalated into a physical fight. Evidence at the scene, including witness statements and video surveillance, showed that one of the people threatened to "shoot up" the home during the dispute. Investigators also determined that a fight over car keys occurred, that caused damaged property and injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Shaderrian Palmer was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault of a Dating Partner.

Kyessence Johnson was arrested and charged with Battery of a Dating Partner and False Imprisonment.
