Two Shreveport Burger Spots Just Made Louisiana’s Best Cheeseburger List
Almost everyone I know loves a good burger. We have so many tasty burgers in the Shreveport area. I had a really good one at Gullo's the other day with bleu cheese on it. I'll definitely be back for that one. But there are a couple of local spots that lead the pack for great burgers.
What Shreveport Spots Have the Best Burger
There's a new "Cheeseburger Bucket List" from the folks at the lifestyle website everafterinthewoods and it ranks the best cheeseburgers in Louisiana. A couple of local joints make this list. The report clearly shows north Louisiana holds its own in the burger wars.
Several spots in south Louisiana made the list, but a couple of places in Shreveport are honored.
Leading the local charge is Papa and Company on East Washington Street. If you have ever eaten one of these massive burgers, you know how great they are. In fact, it's really tough to eat a whole one.
Papa and Company was named for having giant burgers on incredibly soft buns.
The other Shreveport spot on the list is Griff’s Hamburgers on Linwood Avenue. How long has it been since you've been to Griff's? It's just a great burger you can get in this drive-in spot.
These are thin, flat-top seared patties with perfectly melted cheese. Griff's gets called out for having a consistently great burger.
Acadiana and the I-10 Corridor Round Out the Rankings
A couple of spots in Lafayette took the top 2 spots on the list.
Judice Inn has been in business since 1947, is famous for having fry-free burgers with than incredible "Judice Sauce". Broaddus Burgers also lands near the top of this burger list.
