Former Shreveport Political Analyst Arrested for Domestic Abuse

Earlier this week, Shreveport Police officers responded to the Kroger parking lot on Ellerbe Road regarding a domestic violence incident.

The incident originally occurred at a residence in the 9500 block of Rochel Drive.

The victim told officers that Elliott Stonecipher, her partner of 33 years, had been drinking and became physically abusive during an ongoing argument.

She told SPD Officers that when she attempted to leave the home, Stonecipher followed her while armed with a revolver, and waved the weapon while he was ordering her back inside the house.

Later that evening, Stonecipher allegedly entered the victim’s bedroom and repeatedly struck her in the face. Officers were able to plainly see injuries to her face, including a busted lip and bruising.

Stonecipher was arrested and charged with domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse aggravated assault.
