Faust Drive Fire Extinguished by Shreveport Firefighters

Yesterday evening, Shreveport Fire Department got a call about a house fire on Faust Drive.

SFD got on the scene within 5 minutes and could visibly see smoke and flames coming out of the roof of a single-story house. Firefighters were able to enter the home and get the fire under control within minutes.

The home suffered from some damage to the living room area. 8 fire trucks and 22 Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control within 12 minutes.

From SFD:

There are no reports of any injuries to citizens or firefighters. No smoke alarms were found in the home. The origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation by Shreveport Fire Arson Investigators at this time.
