Shreveport Police Seeking Sex Offender for Failing to Register

Shreveport Police are asking for the public's help to find a registered sex offender for failing to register.

Shreveport Police are on the hunt for Caleb Matthew Smith who failed to complete his 2025 sex offender registration as is required by law under the registration of sex offenders and child predators act.

Smith was convicted of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles. Smith also has a prior conviction of failing to register as a sex offender. And history is repeating itself with Smith not registering again. A warrant has been put out for smith for Failure to Register.

SPD are urging the public to come forward with any information leading to the arrest of Smith
