Shreveport Police Seeking Two for Allegedly Stealing a Car for Scrap

The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man and woman, both wanted for a car theft.

The investigation began after a Saturn Vue was reported stolen from the parking lot of Hope Connections on Levy Street. The car was reported stolen late last month after the owner found it was missing.

During the investigation, SPD Detectives learned that on August 20th, the car had allegedly been sold to a local salvage business by Nathan P. McCall and Brittany D. Sanders.

Records indicate Sanders called the business and arranged for the car to be picked up. McCall allegedly signed paperwork claiming he was the rightful owner of the car and authorized its sale. The car was sold for $270.

Investigators determined neither Sanders nor McCall had permission or legal authority to sell the vehicle.

Arrest warrants have been issued for both suspects for Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
