The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man, who is wanted in a violent domestic abuse investigation.

Back in July, officers responded to a reported domestic violence incident on Beckham Drive after the victim called 911, stating that her children’s father, Jametrius Davis, had assaulted her in the presence of their two children. Officers saw visible injuries on the victim during the investigation.

An hour later, SPD Officers were called back to the same location after Davis allegedly came back to the home and attacked the victim a second time. The victim sustained significant injuries, including a chipped tooth, a bleeding nose, a black eye, and a large hematoma to her forehead. Investigators determined that both children, who are under the age of 13, saw both of the assaults.

Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants charging Davis with:

· Two counts of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment

· One count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Serious Bodily Injury

From SPD:

"Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jametrius Davis is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department immediately. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers."
