Shreveport Police Arrest Woman Following Domestic Shooting

Shreveport Police have made an arrest following a domestic incident that resulted in a shooting on Wednesday.

Officers responded to North Hearne Avenue where they got a call about a man who was shot in the back during a domestic altercation. When SPD got to the scene, they secured the scene and immediately called for medical help for the victim. The victim is expected to recover.

During the investigation, SPD arrested Kierra Gray, who has been charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. She was transported and booked into the Shreveport City Jail.

Shreveport Police have been working hard to protect victims of domestic violence and prosecute those responsible.
