Remember When the Old Inferno Nightclub Sign Was Hanging By a Thread?

The old Inferno nightclub sign was hanging by a thread when I came head to head with it. I must confess, I was on my phone and not paying attention when I hit the metal sign and before I realized it, my hat was covered in blood and the top of my head had a gash in it. Should I have been texting and walking? No, however, the last thing I should be worried about is coming face to face with a sign with metal sides that can serve as a knife.

The old sign had Real Estate Agency information on it and we all wondered how much longer Beth King Real Estate would let the sign hang before someone would remove the hazard. According to several downtown residents, this sign took a fall on a Thursday night and it was not removed until a Monday afternoon.

Shreveport Residents Were Left Wondering Who Would Come Save the Eyesores in Downtown Shreveport.

Several residents asked how can Shreveport come together to fill these empty spots throughout downtown? Why do so many buildings in downtown Shreveport remain vacant? We can thank 50 Cent's G-Unit crew for jumping in and making Shreveport better.

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's G-Unit Film & Television, LLC, attorney Richard John confirmed with the Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate that two family-owned buildings in the 200 block of Texas Street in downtown Shreveport, have been sold. The buildings are 218 Texas Street and 205 Texas Street.
