There Has Been a Big Bust in Shreveport According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

According to a press release from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office a Shreveport man has been arrested after their narcotics agents found illegal drugs, packaging material and a firearm in his home on Tuesday, November 15th.

Caddo Narcotics Agents Executed a Search Warrant on Tuesday and Found What They Were Looking For.

The search warrant was executed at 4914 Haywood Place in Shreveport. The list of items found is lengthy. According to tho the press release, this is what was found by the narcotics team:147 grams of crack cocaine (Street Value $14,700), 1 gram of powder cocaine (Street Value $100), 4 D/U of meth tablets (Street Value $40), a digital scale, packaging material, $1,550 in U.S. currency, and a Beretta handgun.

Christopher Bernard, 51, Was Arrested and Booked Into Caddo Correctional Center.

Bernard was on parole at the time of the search and he was the only occupant of the house at the time the warrant was conducted. Bernard is charged with possession of schedule II with Intent to distribute, felon in possession of a firearm, firearm with controlled dangerous substances and resisting an officer.
