An excellent taco is hard to find, so when you find a delicious taco, you have to put it into your regular rotation. I am picky when it comes to tacos. There is one major thing that makes me proud of living in Shreveport-Bossier, I am never in short supply of delicious options for meals.

National Chains are Celebrating National Taco Day and We are Not Impressed.

Taco Bell announced they are bringing back the "Taco Lover's" subscription pass and they will introduce breakfast tacos to the menu later this month.

5. Ki' Mexico's Birria Tacos.

This taco isn't on the menu but twice a week, Sundays and Tuesdays are your lucky days to score these tacos. The Consomé that you dip your taco into is top-notch.

4. Ramirez Mexican Restaurant's Chica Tacos.

Who doesn't love cheesy tacos packed with steak and peppers and onions?

3. Ki' Mexico's La Gringa Taco.

It's marinated pork wrapped in a cheese crust with cilantro and onion and scrumptious salsa who doesn't want this goodness?

2. Taqueria San Miguel's Campichano Tacos.

Maybe the secret is the homemade tortillas? Maybe it's the fact that they mix the steak and the chorizo together? We will never know what makes these tacos a hit but they are.

By far the best taco I have had in Shreveport-Bossier this year. Is it the salsa that I add to it? Maybe the sweet fresh pineapple that is added to the top, but it's a must-have taco.
