Three Comic Book Pros Join The Geek’d Con 2026 Lineup
Shreveport’s comic con, Geek'd Con, returns for the 11th year of the event this August in Downtown Shreveport. The massive three-day celebration is set for the Shreveport Convention Center from August 14th through the 16th, 2026.
This remains the premiere pop culture event for the city of Shreveport. It brings a weekend full of excitement and unique experiences for the entire family.
Exploring The World Of Geek'd Con
The event is built around several different experiences all under one roof. Fans have the chance to participate in meet and greet opportunities with major celebrities...often creating once-in-a-lifetime memories.
The show floor is also home to hundreds of vendor spaces featuring collectibles, custom art, and vintage toys. Panel discussions allow stars to share behind-the-scenes stories, while the incredible cosplay from fans remains a highlight of the entire weekend.
Fan Favorite Comic Book Artists Coming To Shreveport
Louisiana native Roland Paris brings years of comic book industry experience to Geek'd Con. The fan-favorite has been to every Geek'd Con event since 2016. His major credits include titles like She-Hulk, Dark X-Men, and Ms. Marvel. One of his most well known works comes in Amazing Spider-Man #654...marking the first appearance of Agent Venom. His inking work in the book helped bring one of the hottest modern characters to life for the first time.
Also returning to Geek'd Con is Brian Steward, a powerhouse in both the horror and music worlds. He is widely recognized for his work with Fangoria and GoreZone...along with serving as the Editor-In-Chief of KISS: The Official Magazine. His unique blend of artistic styles has made him a favorite with Geek'd Con fans.
Back for another run at Geek'd Con is Jason Turner, the standout artist known for his impressive variant covers. His work on has been featured on a ton of high-profile titles. Fans will recognize his art from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Alpha series, the indie sensation Feral, and the massive TMNT x Godzilla crossover. His style has quickly made him a must-see guest on any convention floor.
