Remember When the 12-Foot Skeletons Had Us All in a Chokehold?

Maybe it was the fact that COVID made us all start loving lawn decor. Remember when we were all locked up and couldn't do much? 2020 was the year that trick-or-treating was basically canceled. 12-foot skeletons were introduced and became the most sought-after item for Halloween.

The problem was, for the first couple of years, they were simply something really cool we all saw on the internet. Did anyone actually have the famous skeleton? They were on backorder and they weren't going to be an impulse buy, Certain people got lucky and were able to bring home the giant skeletons to be the thrill of the neighborhood.

Why Are These Giant Skeletons So Cool?

For starters, it's a giant skeleton. It's spooky because it has these creepy eyes that seem to move and blink. This skeleton needs two people to set up and it will take you around an hour to put it together. It is so big you will need to put ground stakes down to make sure your spooky skeleton stays in place.

I Was at the Home Depot in Bossier When I Could Not Believe My Eyes.

There it was, the Illusive Skelly.

Not only did this store have the 12-foot skeleton they also had this giant Jack Skellington. This Jack Skellington is 13 feet tall and it's animated. Move over basic skeleton, we have our new obsession. The Jack Skellington will set you back $399.
