Thursday Night Was a Very Scary Night For So Many People.

On Thursday night many Shreveport residents were worried about flames coming from the Superior Grill area.

Was Superior Grill on fire? Witness accounts say that you could see flames coming through the roof of the building. There was a public video posted to Facebook and you can see the smoke and flames coming out of the building. What caused the massive fire to break out Shreveport's Superior Grill?

Shreveport Fire Was Called Superior Grill in Shreveport Just After 10 pm on Thursday Night.

According to Caddo Parish Dispatch records, over 17 units were on the scene at one point battling the fire. Thanks to the quick work of Shreveport Fire we don't have a burned-down building and Superior Grill is still standing. You can see the video by clicking here.

One of Shreveport's favorite commodities is safe too. Superior Grill took to their Facebook to share some updates and bring smiles to our faces. The famous margarita machine is safe.

The crew at Superior claims that they will have people working on sight seven days a week to make sure that they are able to open up as soon as possible. "The work has already started at #SuperiorGrill. The dining area was unaffected. Crews will be on the job seven days a week. We will be back SOON.
