This long-running pop culture convention takes over the Lake Charles Event Center from April 10th through April 12th, bringing huge, geeky energy to the state.

Fans might know the talented actress best as Andrea Harrison from The Walking Dead, where she was one of the early fan favorites during the highest points of the show's run.

But horror and video game fans will also remember her from a phenomenal performance as Cybil Bennett in the 2006 film Silent Hill. While some game fans didn't love the movie, it was a box office hit, making over $100 million in theatres. For many fans, Holden's version of Cybil is a highlight of the entire franchise.
As far as horror credentials go, Holden spent time in Louisiana filming the Stephen King based movie The Mist, which was directed by future Walking Dead leader Frank Darabont. The movie was filmed in the Shreveport area, and the movie's ending still has a stranglehold on movie fans to this day.
Sci-Fi fans have plenty of reasons to meet Holden, including fans of The X-Files, where her role of Marita Covarrubias spanned multiple seasons. Mostly an ally of Fox Mulder, her character arc is not always black and white...like most of the X-Files. She also voiced Covarrubias in the X-Files video games.
Recently, Holden had another run on a comic-book based show (like The Walking Dead). This time, on Amazon's The Boys. She portrayed the supe Crimson Countess, which gave her a chance to sing...and show off some super powers. Her role has led to a strong draw in the cosplay community, as many Crimson Countess designs have decorated convention halls since she debuted in the show.
