One of Shreveport’s Favorite Southern Eateries Announces Closure

If You Consider Yourself a Foodie in Shreveport You Know All About Chef Tootie Morrison.

Many in the community claim that Chef Tootie is the reason that Abby Singer's Bistro inside the Robinson Film Center was so successful. Shreveport residents would make their way to downtown Shreveport to try all of Chef Tootie's delicious specials and when Chef Tootie joined Abby Singer's Bistro in 2011 there was new life for the food scene in downtown Shreveport. Her absence downtown has been felt and several Chef Tootie fans followed the chef to her own location on Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport.

Earnestly Tooties opened up in Shreveport and our community had another great spot for some of the best southern food. Chef Tootie's famous pasta dish has had several in our community in a chokehold and if you've tried the Pasta Christian you know that it is addicting. After a Facebook announcement, Shreveport is left wondering where we can get our Pasta Christian fix.

Chef Tootie took to her business page to make a sad announcement on Wednesday morning. "Good Morning! I am making this post to announce the closing of Earnestly Tooties.It has been my pleasure to serve my neighborhood and my community.
This Sunday will be our last day of service. I Thank you guys and will miss serving you in this capacity."
