But let's shift gears. We need to talk about a rather embarrassing wardrobe malfunction that went down that same Saturday night, as we hustled through the rain to our cars post-show.

See, I've been on a weight loss and wellness program for the last several months with Shed It in Bossier City. And let me tell you, if you ever doubted their effectiveness, I'm living proof. So, there I was, getting ready for the show, slipping into my newest sundress and cutest cowboy boots, all ready to flaunt my hard-earned progress. But here's the kicker: When you're shedding pounds, your undies can end up too loose, too.

And that's where the plot thickens. Picture me and my pals, making our grand exit among the throngs of folks, eager to dodge the raindrops and bolt for the parking lot. Just as we're hoofing it down a flight of stairs, my unmentionables decide to stage a rebellion... Yep, you guessed it, they started their descent southward. I attempted a discreet tug to salvage the situation, but alas, my efforts were in vain. By the time we reached the bottom steps in front of Brookshire Grocery Arena, I was knee-deep in a wardrobe crisis. Of course, since I was wearing a dress, I opted for boyshorts to preserve my modesty... Not so much. It looked like I had granny panties sagging to my knees!

I don't know if anyone saw me trying to hitch up my drawers without showing off my goodies, but this is Shreveport-Bossier... you know someone did. I'm just praying that the amount of alcohol people drank and the fact they were hurrying to their cars camouflaged my predicament. So, if you saw my goodies this weekend, I am truly sorry... especially if you had your kids with you. I intend to shop for new undies this week and promise to never let it happen again.
