Gregory Kallenberg. Executive Director and Founder of the Prize Foundation said “We are so proud of the performers and designers because they put so much of themselves into their musical performances and fashion designs, but I’m proudest of the crowds that came to support Fashion Prize and Music Prize, and to celebrate our town becoming an important center for independent music and fashion.”

For the first time in Prize Fest history there was a tie for Second place so the foundation made up a new rule on the spot and awarded both Wild Ire of Salem, Oregon and Niki J. Crawford of Springhill, LA, the $2,000 prize, they didn't make the bands split the prize. The crowd cheered when the decision was made on stage.
