Shreveport-Bossier started to experience a new hilarious form of comedy that we couldn't get enough of when the Crayfish hit Facebook. It wasn't long after that when satire pages highlighting Shreveport and Bossier started popping up. Please remember these pages are strictly for humor. Let's take a look at some of our favorite satire pages, shall we?
The Town of Vivian's Satire Page Has a Little Over 2,300 Followers.
Their about section is short and simple. "Welcome to Vivian...we have a WalMart.". Unfortunately for this page, it has taken a hot minute for residents to realize that this is very much a satire page so many residents of Vivian are posting their disgust and disbelief that the Town of Vivian would post things like this. Oops.
The Town of Blanchard Satire Page is Just Shy of 5,000 Followers.
Their about section has somehow not been taken down by Facebook, but we aren't asking any questions. "Tired of living in the shadow of Shreveport/Bossier. Blanchard offers some of the finest meth"
The City of Bossier Satire Page Has Over 20,000 Followers and the Page Keeps Growing.
Their about section says "For you SUPER SMART DUMB people, we are a Satire/Parody page. We are NOT an official Government entity, nor do we want to be. Satire/ Parody is protected under the 1st Amendment."
We are convinced their page exists just to troll the Shreveport satire page.
The City of Shreveport Satire Page Has Over 37,000 Followers.
The about section says "Find out more about events and cool things happening in Shreveport!!!" They didn't even bother putting a disclaimer in there.
The Caddo Parish Parody Page Has Over 8,300 Followers.
Their about section says "Memes, news, comedy and a peak into the life of northwest Louisiana."
