Keep in mind, that I have seen some MMA fights, but it was on T.V. and although it was a big fight that a lot of my buddies loved, I just couldn't get into it. However, my first experience at an MMA fight was right here in Shreveport and I can't put into words the energy that I felt.

The energy is unlike anything I have seen. Maybe it was because there were a lot of Louisianans that were part of the big fights, but Shreveport-Bossier showed up and got loud. If you weren't there to yell, you were probably at the wrong place.

American Kombat Alliance Is Bringing Back the Cage for a Big Friday Night.

AKA 29 is taking over Sam's Town on Friday night July 7th. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the fights start at 7:00 p.m. This is a fight where you can actually take your kids. You can make a family night out of this. AKA is having a junior fight as well.

One thing I have learned after watching a few rounds is that this is anyone's fight. I refuse to walk in thinking I know who the winner is going to be. You'll be on the edge of your seat.
