The 'Elite' of Bassmaster fishing are in Louisiana for the first time in seven years fishing Toledo Bend this weekend and someone has the foresight to get these pros to try and pronounce distinctly Louisiana names and items with hilarious results!

Wait, the Bassmaster Elite Series is in town? We need the details!

The Gamakatsu Bassmaster Elite at Toledo Bend starts today, Thursday, February 22nd, and runs through Sunday, February 25th with take off each morning at 7 am from Cypress Bend Park and weigh-ins back at the park daily at 3 pm. Attendees will get to enjoy the “B.A.S.S. on the ’Bend” festival both Saturday and Sunday at Cypress Bend Park before weigh-in with live music and local vendors. The pros will compete for two days before the field is cut to 50 on Saturday, and then the top 10 will compete on Sunday for the championship, the trophy, and $100,000!

How can I watch the Bassmaster Elite on Toledo Bend?

That's easy! You can stream the event all four days on Bassmaster.com, Tubi, and the FOX Sports digital platforms. And then on Saturday and Sunday starting at 7 am, FS1 will broadcast live with the tournament leaders.

So where are those funny fishermen you told us about?

That's easy, too! Thankfully, someone has the presence of mind to get the fishermen in from other parts of the country to try and pronounce unique Louisiana names, towns, and other phrases with hilarious results. Let's take a look!

Great job guys, good luck, and thanks for the laughs. Happy fishing!
