Don’t Miss Heart’s Return To Shreveport-Bossier In 2026
The legendary, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Heart has announced a new tour...and it's making a stop in Bossier City.
Ann and Nancy Wilson, the sisters who basically invented women rocking as hard as the guys, are hitting the road on the Royal Flush Tour, and they're making a stop in our backyard.
Heart is Coming to Bossier City in 2026
The show is officially set for the Brookshire Grocery Arena on Sunday, March 1st, 2026. This is part of a massive run that's taking them all across the country, but we're lucky enough to be one of the stops.
This isn't just another legacy act coming through town. This is Heart. We're talking about the band that gave us 'Barracuda', 'Crazy on You', and 'Magic Man'...this is your chance to hear those opening guitar riffs echo through the whole arena...and it might be the last time.
They haven't announced anything like that, and this isn't a farewell tour. But you start thinking about it when you look at the landscape of the bands we've recently seen announcing their final tours, there's Little Feet, then there's Journey, and even David Coverdale has announced his retirement.
When Was The Last Time Heart Played In The Shreveport Area?
It actually feels like it's been forever since Heart was in the Shreveport-Bossier area...but it really wasn't that long ago. Their last show locally was back in October 2016 at the Riverdome inside Horseshoe Casino.
Before that, you don't have to go back too far to find their previous shows. They hit the Riverdome in 2014 and 2010. Here's a look at all of the local Heart shows we could find online:
February 7, 2014 - Horseshoe Riverdome, Bossier City
April 16, 2010 - Horseshoe Riverdome, Bossier City
April 6, 1980 - Hirsch Memorial Coliseum, Shreveport
June 24, 1978 - Hirsch Memorial Coliseum, Shreveport
July 4, 1977 - Hirsch Memorial Coliseum, Shreveport
I'm sure some don't have to imagine it, because they were there, but for those of us who weren't...imagine spending Independence Day with Heart and Rick Derringer in Shreveport. That's right, the opening act for Heart, on the Fourth of July, was none other than Rick Derringer.
How To Get Tickets For Heart in Bossier City
Here's the info you need to know. Tickets for the Bossier City show are over at Ticketmaster. We really don't like to say this kind of thing, but it is a though in many minds in the current climate of tours. This might be your last chance to see these legends live in our area...so don't wait.
