ATM Machine Stolen From Store in Ville Platte, Louisiana

Another ATM Machine has been stolen in South Louisiana and now the theft is under investigation.

According to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office, the ATM was stolen from the store Country Cove, which is located on Tate Cove Road near Ville Platte.

Authorities and employees at the store believe that the ATM was stolen in the early morning hours on Friday, March 22, 2024.

The photo from the store that you see here was shared on social media and it shows extensive damage to the entrance of the store. It is believed that the thieves used a vehicle to enter and remove the ATM Machine from the Country Cove store.

If this story sounds familiar it is because this happened at numerous locations across Acadiana and multiple police agencies have been investigating ATM thefts.

In some of the previous stories that we shared here it was noted that the vehicle often used to remove ATM Machines from stores was stolen, however, we do not know if that's the case here.
