By far one of the most colorful holidays each year is Easter because of the brightly decorated eggs and the variety of candy that ends up in baskets that the Easter Bunny brings.

From chocolate Easter bunnies to jelly beans, colors and different tastes abound for the holiday, and each family seems to have their traditions. It makes sense, as each person has their favorite Easter candy.

One of the most fabulous things about Easter is looking at all of the amazing photos of children's Easter baskets on social media. It's a riot of color and fun!

How Do You Know What to Buy?

I think most parents know what their children like, but it can get expensive to fill up a child's Easter basket, so to offer variety and save a little money, it's nice to know what kids want to find in their baskets.

Some 17% of purchasing for last year's Easter candy was spent on chocolate bunnies while 12% of spending was used to purchase jelly beans.

The National Retail Foundation says that people are buying and consuming around 3.6 billion dollars each year for the Easter holiday. That's been a consistent statistic for the last several years.
