(KTDY) - A Louisiana favorite, and someone who has been to Acadiana many times in his musical career, Stevie B, recently posted a video of himself in the hospital.

Stevie B, the King of Freestyle Music, is known for his high-energy performances and classic hits, including "Spring Love." He was seen in a hospital bed in the video, and if there's any good news, he seems upbeat and very positive.

Since posting the video, many fans have offered their thoughts and prayers for Steveie, and, as you might expect, many have asked what was wrong with him.

One friend who goes by the name DJ Slice provided an update on Stevie's condition in the comments section below the video, stating that, contrary to rumors, Stevie B did not suffer cardiac arrest.

He would go on to say that Stevie B's doctors are taking precautionary measures after the artist suffered from high blood pressure, lingering effects from COVID, and complications from the flu.

DJ Slice would add that Stevie B will be ok, but that fans should continue to pray for him and send good energy his way
