
Indiana Tragically Attempts LSU’s Iconic ‘Get the Gat’ White House Dance
BATON ROUGE, La. - 2019 was a historical year for LSU football. The team went 15-0, eventually winning the National Championship by defeating Clemson 42-25. winning a National Championship came a trip to the White House where the team went viral for their "Get the Gat" dance.
This week, current College Football National Champions, the Indiana Hoosiers made their trip to the White House and attempted to recreate LSU's "Get the Gat" dance, and...well, the internet isn't having it.
Indiana Hoosiers 'Get the Gat' Dance
The Indiana Hoosiers were invited to the White House by President Trump in celebration of what was truly an amazing, undefeated and championship season. According to WAFB, President Trump "praised coach Curt Cignetti for leading Indiana from a 3-9 season in 2023 to the top of college football in two years."

While at the White House, Indiana decided to take a swing at creating their own viral moment to cap off their historical season by...recreating LSU's 2019 "Get the Gat" dance.
After it hit social media, let's just say people have opinions.

Not sure why Indiana chose to try and recreate LSU's viral White House moment, but one comment says they did it because they admire the 2019 LSU team and look up to them.
What do you think of Indiana's "Get the Gat" dance? Personally, I would have loved to see them do the Trump dance with President Trump instead. Maybe LSU's "Get the Gat" dance become a new tradition for college teams who go undefeated and win a National Championship?
