Professions With The Highest Divorce Rates

Regardless of what the salary is, jobs can take a serious toll on a marriage. Stress, long hours, time away from home...it all adds up and, unfortunately, adds up negatively.

Especially if you happen to be in a toxic work environment. Bringing that negativity home is something that happens quite often, and this can make things really hard on a marriage.

As of September 2021, Louisiana had one of the highest divorce rates in the United States. At that time, the divorce rate in Louisiana was approximately 20.8 per 1,000 married individuals, which was higher than the national average.

From divorce.com -

However, for Louisiana, there is some good news.

According to brproud.com, divorce rates in Louisiana are currently on the decline.

Divorce rates in Louisiana have seen a significant decrease, 17% since 2011.

Part of the reason for this is because the marriage rates are on the decline.

Less marriages, less divorces.
