Louisiana Man Charged for Allegedly Sexually Abusing Animals

A Louisiana man, already charged for allegedly having sexual relations with an animal, is now facing more than 90 other charges alleging the same thing according to WAFB.

According to law enforcement officials, 26-year-old Dylan Landry of Denham Springs was arrested in January after an accusation of sexually harming an animal and eight counts of concerning images of the same thing.

Now the man is being charged with 95 more charges alleging the same after law enforcement said that more images and video were found on the man's cellphone.

His wife, Ashley Landry, was also charged back in January, but on a charge of obstruction of justice.

Back in January, he was charged with the following:

• 14:89.3.1 One count of sex abuse of an animal
• 14:89.3.7 Eight counts of sex abuse of an animal with film and possible images of abuse

Now he is facing an additional 95 counts of sexual abuse of an animal with film and possible images after investigators looked into the content on his phone.

For the one count of sexual abuse of an animal Landry can face the following according to Louisiana law:

Whoever commits the offense of sexual abuse of an animal shall be fined not more than two thousand dollars, imprisoned, with or without hard labor, for not more than five years, or both.

For the sexual abuse of allegations involving filming and photography, the above penalties apply plus the following:

Whoever commits a second or subsequent offense of sexual abuse of an animal, shall be fined not less than five thousand dollars nor more than twenty-five thousand dollars, or imprisoned, with or without hard labor, for not more than ten years, or both.
