Jason Statham is the star of "The Transporter" movies, "The Expendables" and several other big flicks. He's also one of the busiest actors in Hollywood. Oh yeah, and he's super hot!
LITTLE KNOWN FACTS
Jason Statham is a world famous actor, but he's done so much more before he hit it big in movies. He was once a diver on the British National Diving Team and finished 12th in the World Championships back in 1992. He has made some money as a fashion model and he even made ends meet by selling items on the black market.
BIG MOVIE ROLES
He teamed up with Guy Ritchie in the movie "Snatch", with co-stars including Brad Pitt, Dennis Farina and Benicio Del Toro. He also won a role in the Jet Li film, "The One".
His big break came in 2002 when he was cast in the lead role of Frank Martin in "The Transporter". Jason also had a role in the 2003 blockbuster remake of "The Italian Job".
TRIVIA
Jason did almost all of his own stunts in The Transporter, including the car chase scenes, the fights and even the scuba diving. He has a background in martial arts and that has helped him in several of his roles.
PERSONAL LIFE
Was in a relationship with English model and actress Kelly Brook for several years. But he is now in a very serious relationship and may soon get engaged to his current girlfriend, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who is 19 years younger than Jason.
He spent more than $10 million dollars to buy a 3,355-square-foot oceanfront house in Malibu, California.
