Jury Deliberations Begin In Trial Of Dr. Conrad Murray
It never really turned into the big media event that had been predicted. But, it's coming to a close.
For 23 days, jurors listened to testimony against Dr. Murray in the death of Michael Jackson.
Listening to the prosecution and defense, it's almost like there are two different Dr. Murrays.
Defense attorneys argued that, if it were anyone other than Michael Jackson, charges would have never been filed.
The defense argument was that Jackson caused his own death.
The prosecution, on the other hand, took a very sarcastic tone in closing arguments.
Prosecutor David Walgreen told the jury that Jackson was abandoned by Dr. Murray.
And, hows this for sarcasm? Walgreen said, "Poor Conrad Murray ... everyone is just working against him. Everyone's to blame but Conrad Murray ... poor Conrad Murray."
We'll let you know as soon as the jury returns a decision.
