Kelly Clarkson was a guest on Thursday's (April 26) episode of Ellen DeGeneres Show, and in addition to performing her latest single "I Don't Think About You," Clarkson spent time on the couch.

The pop superstar had the host in hysterics, bouncing from the upcoming Billboard Music Awards (which she's hosting) o her somewhat ‘bossy’ kids. "She’s authoritative," says of daughter River, 3. "She took my sister who is here around your building like it was her own today. She showed my sister around. It was hilarious."

Clarkson says River is a tad authoritative when it comes to dealing with her little brother, Remy, who is 2. "(I told her) Girl, he’s going to get older and he’s going to start pushing back and doing stuff," Clarkson tells DeGeneres about how River sometimes pushes her brother down when she thinks her parents aren’t looking.

Clarkson's new radio push, "I Don’t Think About You," is off her eighth studio album, Meaning of Life. "'I Don’t Think About You' is the moment you realize something has no power over you anymore," she explains in a recent press release. "We all have people and/or situations in life that mold us and sometimes those situations can feel like they’re about to break us, but this song is about that morning you wake up and you don’t even think about it anymore. It holds no power, no weight in your world, and consumes your thoughts no longer. It’s a song about freedom, honestly."

Before she left Ellen, Clarkson also talked about how much she is loving being on this season of The Voice alongside none other than Blake Shelton. "I have so much energy about it," she says. "I do get into it."

She thinks either of her two remaining contestants could win the show.
